I got a Mk2 Turbo Momo Steering wheel for my 60S a while back, I went to put it in yesterday & its no good...

The wheel wont go onto the column enough to clear the thread as the skirt at the back of the boss hits the column shroud & the spline tube hits indicator ring & prevents it going on enough.

Even if it did go on, the actual wheel is a good 2-3" closer, making it uncomfortably close to drive with.

I`m quite surprised! Whats the difference? is it a shorter column on the Turbo?

Are you sure that's a UT wheel? I had the same problem with tipo sedici wheel, they look the same, but boss is different...

Thats a good point.. I got it off ebay where it was stated it was an UT wheel, but what your saying would make sense, the boss seems too big for my column, despite the splines seeming to be the same...

I guess I could slice the extension off... I wonder if the horn ring & indicator cancel will line up...

Horn and indicators won't work, but there is a way around that. You can take out plastic piece from original uno wheel and bolt it into tipo boss. It requires a bit of cutting and drilling, nothing too complicated. I did that few years back and it works great, but unfortunately haven't got any photos.
