Technical uno turbo slight upgrades

hi all,ive decided to keep my uno turbo,im currently restoring it/cleaning it up but it currently has nothing major under the bonnet,ive sourced a new turbo charger brand new! and i have got a new short engine as well as skimming the head and reseating the valves,but what small engine mods can i do? i dont want to replace the engine for a bigger unit just tweak what i have, help please

MK1 or 2 mate?
Best bet is the basic stuff.
Exhaust
air filter
Fse fuel pressure regulator
Bleed valve
Remove the boost cut switch wires
1 bar boost and get the fuelling checked

And if you can do/make some things yourself then maybe
Oil catch tank
Move battery to boot
Make cold air box for air filter
Rig up an intercooler water spray system of the now unused boost cut switch
Hard wire the fuel pump via a relay form the battery in the boot

Then it starts getting more expensive like
Hybrid turbo
Uprated intercooler
Bigger oil cooler
Uprated clutch

alrite man i dont supppose you cud help me at all, im looking for a new standard turbo for my MK2 turbo cud you tell me where you found yours from!?

Why dont you a different turbo, either a T25 or a GT25.

That way you'll be upgrading from the stock turbo and get better performance.

yea i did some research and i'll probably end up doing that, bt i kinda had it in mid that i would keep it as standard as possible!? but yes thats a good idea thankyou!!

large turbo = more lag which isnt fun, stick with the standard unit there good for 170bhp

Yeah lag is an issue I must admit, depends on your circumstance though. Some people rather have a engines that are a little laggy but then absolutely bust their nuts as opposed to ones setup with boost from 3K.

Could always hybrid if you were feeling bold haha
