Hi all you Uno experts,
I've got a 1310cc turbo ie engine in a kit car. It's been running fine until recently when it started to hesitate in the mid rev range, say 2500 to 4000 rpm. However if you got the revs up above 4000, it ran fine. Gradually the problem's got worse. I've checked the timing and that looks fine. The plugs are fouling with carbon, so I've put a colourtune analyser (see-though spark plug) in and it's running rich across the whole range (but I can't see it on load with the turbo running in the garage of course). I can't see any obvious air leaks. I've swapped both computer units and it's made no difference. I've swapped TDC sensor and speed sensor - no change. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Stuart

Have you changed sparkplugs? or knock the sparks to smaller gap?
sounds like you have problems when you have the most cylinderpressure..
