Hi all,
last weekend I bought myself a mk2 Uno 1.1 I.E.
Really pleased with the car, a few minor faults but a couple of problems. Nothing stopping me from driving the car, but need attention.
The first one is that the interior fan doesn't work on any of the three speeds? strange!!
I'm no electrician, but does anyone have any idea's if there is a common fault with these fan controls, the resistor or fan maybe?
The other weird fault is the clutch pedal, if I push it fully to the floor it makes a horrible clunk!! Like when a clutch cable snaps? and the car seems hard to engage gear. But if I push it only three quarters down, then it doesn't clunk and the gear change is smooth.
Obviously not great, so that really wants fixing as soon as! The car is a hydraulic clutch system, the previous owner told me there garage said it was just a cable... yeah guess they didn't bother looking!!
Anyway if anyone can give me some advice as to what to look at, without going to an garage or auto electrician. I'd be most greatful!
Cheers, Paul.
