Got a mk2 uno ir start. I want to put some reclining bucket seats in as the standard ones are not really that compfy.

i have had a look round at some threads about the subframes and how the current ones are very... unique. i was wondering if this...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNIVERSAL-SPORTS-BUCKET-SEAT-SUBFRAME-FITTING-KIT-COBRA-/250775730167?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a6365f7f7
would suit. If it could be welded to the floor plan or something?

Or if anyone could make up a subframe and mounts at my cost obv?

The subframes for standard custom seat are either 345mm or 405mm.
Seats usually come with rails witch are mounted on the subframe.
Subframes can be folding ones or not.
The front end is fixed to the standard screw thread .( floor beam )
The end is pushed into the original seat-rail.

If I get you right , yes the rear end goes in the seat-rail.
Usually you just take a rectangular piece of iron with a screw thread.
And screw the retral subframe part on after you put it into the seat-rail.
