Hi peeps!! My first posting, hoping for a few tips / do's / don't !!
I have a mk 2 uno 1.1 ie (1108 cc) that needs the rear silencers assembly changed. Years ago I had a mk1 999 cc 45s that was a doddle as it had the one silencer so you could change it easy.
However, my mk 2 has 2 silencers either side of the "axle beam", and a cat.
Whats the easiest way to change it?? Should I jack the rear up so as to allow the suspension to drop to give more clearence to feed one of the silencers thru? Which way is easiest to pull the pipe off eg towards front or rear of car. Should I remove from the cat or disconnect the silencer assembly from the centre pipe that leaves the cat?? Any advice would be most appreciated, Cheers everyone!!
