HI every body ,
here is my project : i would like to swap a uno turbo mk1 (1301) or 2 (1374cc) engine in a Y10 lancia and that, without any chassis modifications, neither engine and gearbox mounts modifs... But i don't know of this direct swap is possible... So, here are my questions :
- Y10 was produced with 1049 brezilian engine (carbs) (until 1989) (and even 1049 turbo) and after with a 1301 atmo engine (Y1O gt ie). And i think that i've read that 1301, 1374 turbo block engine are the same as 1049 one... But i'm not sure... Because if it's true, it would say that those engines(uno turbo's one) enter the Y10 without place problem and that engine mount and fixation are the same! Bu i'm not sur of that so if someone knows... !?
- If it's true, must i take the Y10 with the 1049 cc engine to get the mounts or i woud be able to install the engine on the same mounts as the fire one (for gearbox and engine)?
- Y1O fire gearbox bolt on the uno turbo engine?
-Can i install the uno gear boox on the same mounts (are they the same) and the place would be enough?
