Hi, guys. I am desperate to stop a vibrating noise that comes from the inner nearside driveshaft. I think it is the part that the tripod joint sits in and the inner boot is attached. Apparently, the joint can where a groove in the metal and cause a vibration. (Stops vibrating when turning right) It is not the CV or the wheel barings but when I tried to order a new recon part they said there may not be any and Fiat had no date of delivery!!:bang:

Anyone out there had a similar problem or know of anyone breaking a 1993ish uno 1.0 ie Uno that has this part for sale? I tell ya that noise is doing my head in and I have tried everything! Dave

I'd guess it depends what gearbox you have. the early 999cc may have diferent shafts to the later type.

do you have to press the gear leaver down to select reverse? If so I have a set of driveshafte (y)

are you sure it's not a wheel balancing / bearing?
