Hey all. I know there are tons of threads on this, but i think my problem is a bit different..
I dirve a 1100 UNO FIRE. My problem is if i drive about 120KPH(Sorry SA
) on the freeway my car will sometimes almost cut out but then it keeps going. The main fault is when i drive in traffic and the car gets hot(not overheating) and i drive up a hill or put the car under load, it cuts out and wont start till it has completely cooled down.] The car never cuts out if its not under serious load like an uphill. If i drive on straight road, it is fine.
Reading all the threads, i have replaced the dizzy, then i replaced the ignition module and the pickup again just to be sure, same thing. I then replaced the coil, same thing.
Im am not sure what to do next.. I am suspecting maybe fuel pump? Its a mechanical one, can this be the cause? Or maybe fuel cut off switch freaking out. My carb float died a while back, and i had it replaced- Is it possible that faulty instalation could cause this?
One more thing- I saw a leek in my vacuum tube and fixed it, not sure if it was the only one. Could that cause this? Or am i correct in thinking that will only halter performance?
Thnx alot guyz!
