Styling Uno Console

Just been having a think about the car again, and I seem to remember there was a centre console unit available for the Uno at one time? Does anyone remember these or were they standard on some models? And if anyone has one for sale.........

HELLO, Here in SA they came out on all the uno's from 1996 model, pre 1996 only the pacer SX and turbo were equiped with them.

my '93 uno start had a centre console too

i dont get it, do you just mean the centre console? i know on some models is was a little smaller than others but... i not sure if thats what you mean exactly?

So did my 95 Start.

I've just been told that the SX model had them fitted. The standard central unit from the dashboard down stops about a foot from the floor. The next console part (not fitted in my 45 as standard) continues down to the floor and back I believe.
If anyone has one kicking around gathering dust I may very well be interested. It's not as if we have many decent scrap yards up here with useful stuff either, so I can't do the trawling I used to when I lived down in England.

i have one with a Lilliput 7" XGA monitor and repositioned headunit i might sell for £200

Sounds sweet, but a little out of my budget at present. I quite fancy fitting a screen and some gizmos in later, but I've still to strip the car down and see if it's definately salvageable.
