Hi got a 999cc uno cento and when it rains the car seems to leak water, but only on the floor by the drivers feet and the passanger seat by the feet, not in the back, but heres the weird thing its only leaking on the floor i think its coming from underneath but there arent any visible holes underneath the car, the windows arent leaking and when i check the doors for leaks there arent any but my floor is still wet when it rains! it seems as though its comin from underneath the car! im not sure but the carpets get extremely damp, please any suggestions as its messing up my carpet:-(

Is it possible that the water might come in throught the airducts behind the dashboard (you know the 'air holes' for the fan that blow into the footwells)?

If the wetspots originate close to the center console that'll be my guess.

I never thought about that, that could be right, the airducts are closed though, but it can still leak rite? how can i stop it from leaking, by the way thanks for the quick reply, that was like 2 mins :p lol

Could be leafs or seeds from trees or a combination preventing the ducts to close completely.
When I switch the fan onto max it sounds almost like a popcorn machine! :slayer:

Could be possible that the duct pipes/channels pulled away or cracked...

LOL! yea there are leafs in the duct cause when i switch it on there are leaves that come out the air ducts, how can i clean it? and if its cracked where can i get it repaired:>

Hi,
I had exactly the same thing with my Uno a few months ago, I got it it after a heavy downpour and there was 2 inches of water in the drivers footwell! I found that it came in through the air duct, as the drain hole was totally blocked. The way to clear it is to remove the black plastic trim in front of the windscreen and get your hand in the air inlet and scoop all the junk out. You may also need to make sure the drain hose is not blocked, the easiest way to get to it is from behind the engine, just above the steering rack, it's in the middle of the car, directly below the windscreen. The end of it is designed to be pinched closed but mine was welded closed permanently with all the junk. I'm sure you'll find this is the problem with your Uno.

okay awesome! thanks so much for the help, ill look today and let u no :slayer: thanks for the replies guys :)
