Uno and Punto running gear

Hi Y'all,
Could someone help me. I have recently been given a project to do, an Onyx Firecat kit car. it is based on a fiat uno but i'm having difficulty finding a sheddy uno with good engine, i was also wondering whether the Punto would be a possible alternative?
