Where would i get one from and how much am i looking at to get it?

Also am i correct in saying its a 1108cc block with a carb?

Suppose while im on topic, is there a weber twinchoke carb that can be fitted onto the standard intake manifold with little/no modification?

Hi Luke,

The Uno 55 gained twin choke carb and electronic ignition in 1985 to become the Uno 60, which I’d guess was the non FIRE.

The 60 was either the 1116 Non fire OHC, or (later) the 1108 FIRE OHC. I presume only the FIRE was carried forwards to SPI.

I’d keep an eye on e-bay for one :)

Regards,

Hey Luke,

The one you want is the 1108cc version (FIRE engine). Injection or carb, but I think the carb is better.

The best bet would be to search on ebay for one selling for spares/scrap. They are rare though, compared to the 999cc.

Not sure about your question about 'uprating' the carb, but I remember posts in the past where the conclusion was it would require mods to the inlet.

I own a FIAT Uno 60s, it has developed a problem of spoiling the universal joint on the drive shaft, what might be the problem? the gear box seem to be ok
