Hi. I have just bought a uno 1,3 turbo that can´t start. The Seller said that it just was the fuelpump but i have found out that there is fuelpressure.
I also got spark so i think that it is something with the fuel injector or rather the signal too the injectors. There is not coming any fuel out of the injectors

Things I have tried:
1. another wiring
2. another electronic injection control unit
3. another fuel injection system control relay
4. another water temperature switch

But what about the airflow meter.
should I try to renew this.

I hope that You can help me because no one in denmark can:)

Thanks in advance for your reply and
sorry my english spelling.

Sincerely Henrik/DK

Hi Henrik and welcome to the forum

A common cause of a non starting UT is the crankshaft position sensor. This is used by the ECU to trigger the ignition and also, I think, the fuel injectors. You're getting a spark already though it might be worth checking this anyway. One of the UT owners should be able to direct you to where the crank sensor is, but I think it is at the cambelt end of the engine near the crankshaft pulley. Replacing it might well solve your non starting problem :)

By the way, your English is a lot better than a lot of English people!

Thats a good shout - try that (if possible) and the gear box sensor - thats on top by the clucth leaver..either can die with no warning or obvious reason.

As you say 'not starting' i'll assume it wont even grumble/chug a little? If it was the case you could look at the boost piping - if the intercooler pipe (or for that matter the inlet AFM > compressor housing pipe - i mention these as they can come off more easily/regularly than the others) has come off it certainly wont run, but will try to at least.

Thanks for all your answers.
I will try your ideas in the next week and then I will be back.
