General ulysee central locking fault

hi i have a 2.0 ltr el 1998 ulysee with a central locking fault it doesnt work at all the remote is broken plus when i put the key in the drivers door it just opens that door & i have to pull up all the rest of the door pins also cant lock the boot because of this fault n the lock as seazed up its all dead nothing at all! : (

Hi there, I had a similar problem with my 2002 mk1 Ulysse 2 litre EL. If you open the sliding doors you will see at the base of the pillar some contact points which have approx 6 or 8 small round connectors. You can rub these down and that enabled mine to work better.
