there are no timing marks !!!
both the cam wheel and flywheel are locked into place using 8mm pegs.
the cam wheel has a slot in the front which should be pointing to the top of the engine then the 8mm peg will push through into a hole in the head.
the flywheel hole is behind the starter motor (which will need to be removed) this one is a bit easier to see and best found first (assuming engine is in car) then you can check that you hav'nt got the cam timing out by 180 degrees.
Are you changing belt cos if you are there is a special procedure for tensioning belt
