Hay unonumero,

From your other thread, I see you asking about suspension lowering kits ;)

If I recall, the suspension for the MK1 and MK2 are the same.

I have a -40 MM Jemex shock and spring kit on my (RED) MK2 1.0 IE, like the ones on their web page. http://www.jamex.nl/shop/SUBGROEP_list_veren.asp?AG=veren&HG=Sport+Accessoires&SG=LOWERING+SPRINGS

Though it says only up to September 92, my October 93 Uno doesn’t seem to mind having them.

There is a lengthy thread on here discussing the pros and cons of lowering. The James kit certainly makes the ride a lot harsher! Though the body role and cornering is much better than with standard suspension.

Simply fitting an anti role bar will reduce the body roll without lowering the ride quality.

The White Uno Turbo is on Spax Adjustables. Before selling, I noticed that one of the springs had snapped, so I can’t comment on the ride quality

I have to mention that the ride quality in your Red un Louie is superb, it handles really well on the corners especially.

Also..where you been hiding that last pic of your UT?! it looks hot! not seen that pic b4!

i think my uno being lowered is a def. but i need to see the options for bodykits so if i decide to opt for one i can decide how low to go.
I dont wanna go to low or have it so the kit doesnt fit lol

Thanks for the tips.
Hope fully it will be lowered. btw people in halfords theres a ripseed dvd player with screen that slides oout for £300 saw it today lol

cheers

there is no better body kit for the uno than the Turbo kit. all you need is the front bumper, side skirts, arches and the spoiler if its a mk2.

as for suspension kits there are loads out there, best going for some adjustables like koni's or avos so you can set how hard/soft you want them.

hmmm i like the turbo arches, as there not to big but still nice.
I cant find any turbo body parts anywhere!
nothing on the bay and google is crap lol
:(

try looking through some south african sites, they still produce the uno over there and they have some wicked cars. sure they will do something to kit it up.
The best looking Uno's though have to be the subtle styling ones, nothing over the top! :slayer:
