Technical uConnect 6.5" Maps Update

Hi,

Not sure if you are interested but I have created a map update for the uConnect 6.5 that I am sharing for FREE! lol. Its alot newer than the FCA maps too.

I have put a guide and a link the the files on the forum in the San Nav section. (being new user, it wont let me post links until I have 5 posts...yet it let me put my Mega share link on lol)

Hi, Squithy! Remember me? :D Welcome to the Fiat forum. :)

You really did a tremendous job on those maps. I tested them today in the city and everything works just fine. Thanks again!

It's in the Satellite Navigation section. Here's the link:

If you have any questions, my advice is to contact Squithy at the Alfa Romeo or the XDA forums, because he's not frequenting this one. Here's the links:

I finally got round to getting the Genuine Garmin Mount. Lookes excellent quality. Have yet to try it in the car but I'm sure it will be fine.

I've used mine frequently for about 2 years now. It's still 100% intact, no wear and tear and holds to the top of the dash like a limpet. You should be well satisfied with it [emoji1303]

Well you have answered a question / experience I was wondering/concerned about. That is how long the underside grip material will retain it's grip. I do use those anti-slip type mats and the one I have on my dash does require periodic replacement. Dirt cheap to do so not an issue. Periodic replacement of the Garmin mount would be not acceptable. Am pleased you have essentially ruled this out.

My Otter named "Lotii" will be pleased.
