Bravo 2007 diesel
What do people recommend for tyres ? I have bridgestone in the past but don't seem to last. Any ideas at all please.

Simple: Good Year EfficientGrip Performance.

The best tyre on the market and perfect on my Bravo t-jet (175HP) (18') Sport. Why?

* Quiet, quiet, quiet!(!)
* Fuel effecient
* Great wet handeling
* Long lasting

Really, go for it. It's the only tire on the market with an B-label on effiency, and a A-label on grip. Search for tests on the internet, and convince yourself.

A cheap(er) alternative I had before is the Uniroyal Rainsport 3. This tire preformance great in rain, good in dry! Consumer reviews are very good!

I stuck Kleber Quadraxers on a few years back and just replaced them (with some rubber still left) at 34k miles which is more than twice what I was getting out my Continentals. Stuck another set on now, I dont drive fast in my Sport 165 but I know they wont be as grippy as the Continentals.

The tyre you require will depend upon the size of wheel you are currently running. I have 205/55 r16 on my Bravo and run Michelin Primacy HP. Not the best but substantially better (quieter, more stable, more wet grip) than the Bridgestone Turanza's on the car before.

I have 2.0 mjet 165. Just took off Goodyear efficient grip (225/45 r17) from the front and put on 2 goodyear eagle F1 asymmetric 2. Feels much better already. Back 2 are still the efficient grip as they have loads of rubber left. But eagle F1's were £90 each fully fitted.

I really don't pay any attention to the fuel efficiency rating, my main and only concern is the wet grip. Which is why I generally replace my tyres with UniRoyals. Since the release of RainSport3, that has become my tyre of choice and I have to say I couldn't fault it on my Alfa 147 - the ride became a little softer, grippier and very reassuring in the wet.

Tyres I find are down to personal preferences. Someone else will probably slate the RS3, but then experiences vary :)
