Hi all
Had a X-reg 105JTD SX with 197000 on the clock and it ran fine but always had the niggle of how far is left in the engine/gearbox and about a year ago decided (relucantly) to sell it. Someone local bought it and I still see it running around quite merrily.
Missed the old bus so after selling my Citroen Picasso 2.0HDI because wife hated driving it, I started looking for a Multipla again. Did consider petrol but later spotted a black W-reg 105JTD ELX with 120000 on the clock. Test drive revealed the usual knocking from the front and a cracked windscreen + a couple of bits of trim missing/broken and the centre rear seat belt chewed by the previous owner's dog.
Drove home (80ish miles) with no mishaps.
Gave the inside a good hoover out by removing all the seats (God knows when this was done last judging by the amount of crud between the front seats) and found 78p in loose change as well!
Gave the outside a quick wash and then it struck me about the size of the tyres.
It is wearing 205/65/15's on the alloy wheels and they seem to literally fill the wheel arches. I don't remember the X-plater's tyres being that size.
There's no handbook with it so I can't check the size.
Was going to see what other Multipla's in the area have but the only ones I've seen are usually on the move.
