the sedici could do with a pair of front tyres.do you have to fit the same brand as the rears or can you fit a different make.could you fit two winter tyres on the front only or again do you have to fit four.thinking mainly when its in awd.thanks for the help

What you don't want is a pair of winter tyres on the front - if you brake on a slippery road the grippy winter tyres will slow you down, but the less grippy rears will try really hard to overtake the front. Always keep your best rubber on the back.

If you have to change in sets of 4, or if you can change in pairs depends if the car is permanent 4x4, and if it has a centre diff/hydro diff to allow the difference between the tyres to work its way out. I'm no expert on the Sedici so will leave it there!

The Sedici is quite light at the front end - You can spin the fronts easily pulling off especially at a junction. Doesn't help tyre wear.........

Just reviving this to say I've just had a pair of rears fitted - Uniroyal Rain Experts......I cannot reccomend them enough - to the point where it actually feels like I've changed suspension components. Admittedly my previous rears were completely worn out but the improvement in ride and noise is huge! You cannot beat quality rubber - I know the Sedici is not exactly a sports car but premium rubber still makes a difference....
