i just drilled a hole for a tweeter and decided to fit it and wire it up, thought i'd test it see how it sounded, and when i turn either the gain on the amp up or the volume on the HU the tweeter cuts out, i've had the woofer in before and there's been no problems with that,
was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the situation,
my amp is a kicker zx250.2 and the components are vibe sek50's
cheers
edit:
just checked again, atm i've got an active sub and the rear amp with only the tweeter wired in, when the tweeter cuts out i'm pretty sure the sub does too, so it's not just the tweeter, i can turn up the gain on the sub without any problems though, i've checked to see if i'm using a bad earth but the voltage at the battery is the same at the amp, like i said before when i had only a woofer wired in, i could turn up the gain much more than now and nothing cut out, it's not making much sense
