turbo hose split

hi guys, on a trip to colchester from cornwall i had a black smoke problem arise. on inspection it was found that the top turbo hose had developed a split, we called into a garage, bought some electrical tape, tapped it up and drove off to the nearest fiat dealer. "a top hose for a weekend jtd 1.9 please?" "sorry sir, no one in the group has one, but we can order one for you!" this was vospers in exeter. no sweat i thought, get one in colchester. same question to the main dealer there and the same answer. what is going on? still, made the trip there and back with the tape repair. i am now looking to replace the original one with a samco one.

my question is, does anyone on here know the exact size i should buy for the job? it's the top hose that goes into the engine, a 90 degree bend.

if you take a piccy of the pipe I might have 1.

only might.. have some spare fiat pipes.


If 1 fiat garage says there isn't any in the group, it wont matter how many fiat garages you go to.. there isn't 1 in the UK!


Get one on order anyhow.... then the next poor chap who's hose splits will have 1 atleast in the UK
