Have a problem with a recon turbo running in a standard coop, boost gauge says peak at 1.0 bar.
I said to the tech guy that this was a bit under standard which I believed was a brief peak of about 1.2 bar and he responded by saying that the turbo is only supposed to run up to 14 psi which his just under 1 bar.
He also stated that the cold startup smoke could have been caused by a leaking air hose letting the boosted pressure out and hence spinning the turbo too fast, which sounds to me like if there is a problem with the turbo bearing they will blame my air hoses.
He also suggested other things like oil breathers and the oil return pipe to check.
Anyone got any bright ideas or can you confirm by thinking on the standard boost pressure. :bang:
