Tuning Tuning a abarth

I bought a 2012 abarth that the old owner must of had tuned and exhaust done. The tune in it now produces 22lbs of boost. I was wondering if I could put a stock tune back in so it doesn’t over boost and blow engine again? I see that it is catless and has aftermarket up pipes and blow off valve. I just want the car to be reliable. I use it to push my drag car at the strip. I worried about over boosting the engine and blowing it up.
I’m not worried about a check engine light coming on because of the no cats.

Your best bet is to find out who's MAP has been installed and see if they'll put it back to standard.

A dealer would d it, but it would be costly

I can put it back to stock tune,but I’m not sure if it will run right because of catless exhaust.

Unless you drive it like the previous owner surely even with the higher boost driven with sympathy it should be generally ok?

The present 595's with 145 hp can be remapped to ± 175 hp and the 165 hp version (same engine -Turbo as the 180 hp) can be mapped to ± 200 hp without any issues.

You can always go to the remapper of th car (if you know it) and ask for a more detuned map to be installed.
