Hi I'm new so please bear with. I have a sticking ignition barrel and have swapped it out with a new one. The old key is still needed to open doors so I was hoping I could just put it on a key ring but I've tried this and the car won't start. What are my options? I'm nervous about removing the chip from the old key as I don't want to damage it so I was wondering if I could get someone like timpsons to copy transponder. Any help appreciated.
