hey again peoples...

Just messing with the blue&me media player today and ive notived that most (about 90%) of my mp3's are not displaying the last letter of the title.

All my mp3's are showing in win media player ok, there are no special charecters etc...

is this common? fixable ?

Ben.

Mine's doing exactly the same missing the last letter off the songs. In at the dealership at the moment (for a list of other things too) and they say there's nothing wrong.

I also get the artists name appearing 3 times in the listing.

E.g. Cult shows as:

1. With just the first letter C
2. Missing the last letter CUL
3. Full name CULT

Glad it's not just mine that's having these issues.

58 reg Abarth SS, so fairly new. Garage says nothing wrong :bang:

Hi folks hope you get this. This problem has been doing my head in :bang: since I got the car (9 months now), but just the other day I found the solution. There is nothing wrong with your car or Blue & Me system, it's down to the way the music is 'Tagged'. By this I mean ID3 tags.

There is only one version which works and that is v2.3

The best way to fix this is by using itunes as I have tried many mp3 tagging programs that claim to do this and that, but I used Itunes to tag my music and hey presto, the full track titles and artists are displayed, and the albums play in track order, not alphabetical.

The main reason I say Itunes is because it is FREE :).

What to do is download itunes for free.
Add all your tracks to the library.
Highlight them all them right click and select 'convert id3 tags...'
Select v2.3
Click OK

Once you put your USB stick into your car you'll be pleasently surprised.

Any difficulties feel free to ask me and I'll try and assist.
Enjoy your choons!!!!
