General track car

General track car

Two engines are hard to manage, plus there's extra weight and that's going to hurt in the corners.

There's an addage to making a good track car as passed on by Sedicirich.

Make it stiff. Make it stop.

If you can get them two right you'll get more advantage than £££ spent on the engine. Coming from a trackday in a mostly standard Tipo (same platform as Marea) even standard I was able to brake later than most cars, and throw it through the corners - until the brakes gave up! Putting a 20vt or 16vt out of a coupe would probably be the cheapest way to make that advantage through the corners stick.
