I bought a hitch for our multipla from an online scrap yard. Since they removed and dispatched it I never got a chance to see where it was wired into. I've looked at the EPR and even the official Fiat manual but its not much help on adding accessories like a hitch. I've got the hitch phyisically fitted fine, just not wired up yet.

Has anyone fitted one before who can give me a bit of guidance on the best place to splice it in or perchance there is a splice block somewhere just waiting to be plugged into (might sound daft but Land Rovers are like that, plug and play).

I've brought the hitch wire in on the left side of the tailgate. If left to my own devices I'd run a second wire across to the right hand light to pick up an inidicator light signal but I can't help feeling there is a better way of doing it.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give :worship::worship:

I ran the wire to the drivers side on my multipla connecting the earth (white), right indicator (green), right hand tail (brown), fog lamp (blue) and stop lamps (red) then I ran 2 wires across to the other side for the left hand indicator (yellow) and left hand tail (black). dont forget you need a buzzer or warning lamp to keep it legal.
