Hi
I have a 2018 2.3 multi jet , I’ve seen an old 2010 thread on leaf spring torques will these be the same for a 2018 model? Also would anybody know what the torque should be for the U bolts, I don’t want to guess so any help would be really appreciated

In the days of my distant youth, torque settings where only specified for a few locations. These included big end and cylinder head bolts. Tightening almost everything else involved a degree of judgement.

The U bolts for the rear springs on my x244 are M14. Elearn specifies a torque range from 10daNm to 16.3daNm. This translates to 100Nm to 163Nm. Given the wide range, obviously not critical, and in my opinion quoting to the last 3Nm is a trifle pedantic.
