Hi I have an early model Topolino with the short rear springs myself. Besides the engine number and the chassis number there is a number in front of the Vent flap that lifts up to get to the petrol filler Cap. Just on the main frame. . I have owned my Topo since 1976 when I lived in Malta where I bought the car. Now in Brisbane Australia since 1980. Do not do much with it these days and if the right buyer comes it will be sold. Mine has engine number 040864 and Chassis No 039047. It is an early one. Still drives like new. Lives in a carpeted garage covered up. Tony.
