Ok the software you can download in a Trial version, i maybe able to get it off my friend.
Also the Maps i am aware that they are JPEG's. Images. It draws a line to where you go. So how it will work for the whole of the UK i dont know, probably doesn't. Whatever image you have it will use.
Personally its dead primitive. But...its a form of Sat Nav.

I have no experience of AGPS, but it appears you need a connection to an AGPS server network which from what I can tell is in addition to your standard airtime connection.
