Ok just to remind you i have the latest TomTom Mobile 5 software, version 5.2 (443). Also i have the newer and latest TomTom UK Map (NOT V562).

Also i have the following additional voices...

Oh right, sorry i meant by the post that there are updates for TomTom 5 and the UK map that i shared ages ago.

I posted afew weeks back asking if updates where available as i could get access to various newer versions but people told me that the versions i had where the latest. Well just to say i have got the newer software and TomTom info page proves its the latest the versions are higher.

I dont have the space to share unfortunately. However the voices are hilarious. Never thought you could get them.

Where do you get the tom tom from for the mobile as well as the map and the voices? do you have to download it from the net to the phone?

I've got it on CD, just copied the files to the memory card for the Nokia using a memory card reader.

don't think the messing about upgrading tomtom 5 would be worth it for me but new maps are new maps!

I have the Nokia 7610. Would I be able to use the tom tom on my fone? Would like to be able to get hold of a navigation for my phone. If anyone has a disk they could copy for me it would be appreciated. Am willing to pay however much it costs.

To be honest i never tried seeing if the map worked on version 5. I cant see why not. To goto version 5.2 all you do is replace afew folders. I.e TomTom, TTMobile, etc.

If you want a copy i can sort anyone out. I'll just copy the CD i have. Comes with the latest TomTom 5.2, latest UK Map, and extra Voices for the TomTom as mentioned above. (Works for all series 60 Mobiles, i also have TomTom for phones like the communicator but thats only Version 5).

Also is everyone aware that pocketgps speed camera database from feburary will not be freely available?

I can guarantee it works on all Series 60 and series 80 Mobiles of Nokia. The rest i dont know. I remember the Orange SPV needing an exe file which isn't required for Nokias. So unfortuantely the Motorola A100 or A1000 isn't a smartphone.

it says my phone has GPS and i can turn it on and off but ive no idea how to use it?

Does it not work like a compass or tell you in latitude or longitude where you are? You'll have to read the manual but i doubt the phone has actual sat nav capabilities.
