well..as you know my motor has blocked..so i bought new block..of 2.0 16v tipo..everything on it is new..and the cranckshaft and connecting rods are easier..
]

then i started to separate it..

and the head is out..

the engine is also out..

and it is separated..

all parts and engine space are cleaned

and i started to compose it..and now i have a lot of problems..because 2.0 16v and 1.8 16v are different..but i hope so that i will fit everything..

sorry on my english..

WoW  Nice One!

Thats a massive job and you must have a bottomless pit of money! You must also know a lot about engines to try and take on such a job! Keep us all posted on what happens, im keen to know how it goes. So thats a 2 litre block with 1.8 head and bits right? Is it really that simple? I wish you the best of luck! Its gonna be so good when you start it up for the first time........

well..i have some problems..the biggest are belts..but i will solv that..also i have to reform some things..but i think i will do that..
on my head i have expand chanals, polished everything, changed seats of valves..and let it down..so the compression is bigger..

connector to water pump..

then i saw water pipe and connected it..

then i blocked balances..

and then i started takeing back motor..

and motor is in..and i connected everything..

then i weld some things..

and after 3 days being in garage i was very tired;)

the most important thing is that engine is RUNNING!!(y)
that is all..

excellent. well done. i know how much work is involved in removing and replacing that engine. one big heavy lump. just one thing. polishing does not increase power. it actually interferes with fuel droplets and decreases power. a very good tuning book is Dave Vizard's engine tuning book. tells you about everything, from head porting, to exhaust lengths. anyway, keep the good work up. glad its running again.:)
