General Tipo - New Wheel Or Breakers In Birmingham

Hi Everyone,

Were looking for a new drivers side back wheel for a Tipo 1.4 as this one keeps going flat.

We had it checked out and they said that the tyre was fine and the actual wheel was the problem. They said that it was a common problem as the rim of the wheel corrodes and causes the leek ?

With that in mind we need some advice or the address of a breakers yard in or around Birmingham where we can get this sorted.

I did find a post that mentioned Fiat Base Ltd in neechels but the number that was given 0121 765 4749 did not work

search for car breakers in Birmingham. A set of steel wheels from a Bravo/Brava should fit fine too.

Thanks for that, should have thought to look there.

I also should have thought to ask if any other type of fiat wheel would be ok to use.

Anyone know how much i should be expecting to pay too ?

For a steel wheel? £1? They should practically give you it for free. I've thrown 2 sets of wheels with tyres out.

What size wheels does your Tipo have?
