Technical Tipo 8v gt Abarth dashboard problem

I recently bought a Fiat tipo 2,0 8v gt Abarth and I have some major problems with the digital dashboard.

My Problem:
The dashbaord only works when I have all of the lights switched off on the knob. When I turn the switch to parking-light or regular lights the dash goes black.

However if I remove the fuse ,10A second one from the top, that is linked with the dash the whole digital dash comes to life again. The problem is that if I do this the front right parkinglight and the rear left parkinglight and the right.light that lights the plate number goes out.

I have checked the earthcables under the battery tray (two black ones and one smaller black one).

I have also checked the digital-boards back to see if any soldering was loose but seems ok.

Any suggestions before I give up?

There is a brightness adjustment. Check it is not right down.

Also there is no "Abarth" model Tipo.

Check the fuseboard as well for a short. Mighgt be worth getting an auto electrician to look at it.

I also agree with Steve re the Abarth bit.
