got a bit more done tonight, but went to bolt up the struts to the hubs,

i am using a coupe 16vt subframe and running gear, and tipo uprated shocks, the hub is too wide to fit into the tipo shock, that can be dealt with a grinder.

but the bolt spacing is different, maybe half an inch,

to the guys that have done this conversion, how did you get round this?

coupe shocks?

if so what springs (again mine are uprated) and what top mounts?

cheers scott

You MUST use the Coupe shocks with the Coupe hubs or you can use the Tipo shocks with Tipo hubs.

Do you have the Coupe or Tipo lower arms?

hi steve, its a complete coupe front end,so coupe arms,

if i used coupe front shocks, what top mounts do i use?

cheers scott

put the coupe rack, wishbones struts the lot on it will be wider like Gassy's 20v. The driveshafts are chunkier then 16v, uprights as you know are beefed up, thus you need turbo struts. Put the rear coupe arms on too as they are wider.

just making sure i get the right bits first time ,so i can at least get the tipo on its wheels, appreciate all the help so far, there will be more questions soon i bet.

used the tipo cable. It joins an intermediate pivot on the tipo near the brake master cylinder.

the fuel line set up on the coupe runs through banjo bolts into the fuel rail,on the tipo one pipe bolts onto the end of the fuel rail and i think the return is just a hoseclip, what set up did you guys run?

cheers scott

I have not done this conversion specifically but common sense would say, use the Tipo fuel rail and pipes etc
