Technical Tipo 1.6 Carb Ignition Problem

it was the wrong part but they had the one i was after in stock anyway luckily but to fit it requires removing the exhaust/inlet manifolds hence the need to do it from below there's no way it can be done simply as i hoped to do oh well put some vaseline on it which should do the job better than nothing i'll take it in when i got some cash together maybe

does the K&N take in the warm air from the exhaust manifold when the engine bay is cold? carbs need the air to be warm to vaporize the fuel i think. its just an idea...
