General Tinted windows?

Hello
I've got some question about rear windows in UK.
I checked DVLA site, asked in MOT garage and asked in Autoglass garage
and everywhere they said that I can tint REAR windows. They said that with REAR windows I can do almost everything.
What do you think? Can I do it? I did it with my first polish Panda and I like it.So I would like to do this with my UK Panda.
Have you got any experience? Can Police stop me and ask about some certificate?

you can tint all three to whatever degree you want, front tints are only allowed up to 30% outside light blocked. any local tint company will know the exact specs.
