Does anyone know if the arrow is supposed to be pointing at the hole on the cam belt tenioner when idling. Also I take it the the fuel pump pulley doesn't need timing up. :bang:
the tensioner isnt an exact science, as long as it is tight all the way round (half twist of the belt) then should be fine .
The tensioner is boxed fixed and sprung once set but i allways run the car a little then re check.
The fuel pump on my 2000 105 jtd doesnt need doing and the autodata cd states so but cannot confirm on 16v engines.
