I've just ordered a Fiat 500 with a Dualogic gearbox and wondered what peoples opinions about this gearbox are? I have a Citroen C2 which has a similar gearbox and I like it but I've heard mixed reports about the Dualogic.

One of the queries is; Can it be left in gear, for example, when I park on my drive and it's in first gear, do I have to knock it into Neutral then switch off ignition? Or can I just switch ignition off? What will happen when I turn it back on, will it still be in first?

Thanks for your help guys

The car should be left in gear, it'll soon let you know if it hasn't with a warning message (y)

Cracking gearbox imo, we've a Bravo and Panda, both dualogic, and I'm knocking up 20k+ miles a year in the Bravo without fault :)
