Technical Think I have a problem...

Started her up this morning(her being the new fizz) and she strated fine but lots of white smoke, didnt think much of it till i finsihed doing the windows and could see it coming from under the car, bulkhead location... this would confirm why dad said he thinks a blow in exhaust, new one was recently fitted by previous owner at quickfit so could be a bad seal somehwere... but why all the white smoke?

Looking yesterday there was mayo in the oil breather pipe, but none around the cam when i took cover off, oil level is fine and she doesn't over heat.

EDIT just looked at a thread in the 'cento section. Seems that mayo around the oil filler is common in cold weather as is white smoke due to condensation. Hope thats the problem, but it still leaves me with a blowing exhaust

Sounds like you've answered your own question, but I would certainly monitor water usage for a while.

on the topic of gaskets, rocker cover casket available from most motor factors?

oil all round the head and coils and can only think thats the problem(common one too iirc)

Def everything sounds normal regarding the mayo...try cleaning your gaskit and use some silcone gaskit sealant for refitting..cheap fix...

Correct. Around £10-1d iirc and avbailable from Fiat still.

White smoke in winter (cold weather) is OK....blue wouldn't be
If you use car in town, cold weather, short trip...there will mayo...
as other said....check cooland level and check if it's bubling....

Everything will be OK
