Just got myself a brake pipe flare tool and new master cyl to re plumb the brake circuit. I have vague memories of discarding a ‘bit of cast iron pipe’ for want of a better description that went somewhere in the brake lines.
Mine has the single outlet of the master going to the rear and the 2 together going to the front. Its been working fine (or was for years) but what was the other bit for?
Perhaps I am getting mixed up with another vehicle. I guess DOT3 will be ok as I have some or does it go off if not opened?

Its now just one long pipe to a T on the diff.
Thought it may have been some sort of balancing gadget or something that lights a warning if one circuit does not have pressure like the Range Rover.

You have got a panda when that light on the dash comes on when you don't have hand brake on and you are going down hill its time to hope your car insurance is up to date and the hand brake it 80% in working order cos you get no other posh warning. Only a big repair bill if you cock up.

ah yes but if you have a Panda and the brake warning light comes on it probably means the Italians have wired it up on a Friday afternoon and you've just tried to honk the horn;)
