hate to break your generalisation of 17yr olds but i think you will find most people who steal ice etc are generally a lot younger! by the time they are 17 they are onto bigger things, the car! lol I was only last summer i watched two young lads from my bedroom window take the radio from a bmw parked at the cemerty opposite. I heard he car alarm, looked out the window (about 2 in the afternoon on a lovely sunday on a very busy road) to see two lads about 13, one leaning in the window pulling it out. One of them saw me, they just put their hoods up and carried on! People walked past but noone seemed to notice. By the time i got out they had gone! Rang the police but a waste of time. Lots came though, very exciting!!!
Plus not many thieves steal something cos they want it, they want it to sell, so i wouldn't get too hung up on some scum bag in a fessy with a big grin on his face cos he ripped off your lights, no, he will be grinning cos he got them cheap off some kid!!! lol
sorry not to make you feel better, but you have to laugh, it's the only way!
Since living here my car has been broken into 5 times,
3 new rear quarter windows
new drivers lock
new paggenger lock + bodywork repair
2 amps, bass box, accoustic shelf and a set of 6x9's gone
the remote for my heqad unit
one disk of a two disc cd compelation
a padlock
my girlfriends car has been broken into 3 times
new drivers window
two new locks
they took cd player with no facia
set of weel trims
my friend came to see me once and they took his honda valve caps broad daylight!
Sorry to rant, you would be better off not reading this!!! far too long. lol
basically it's a ****!
