Yep the last post, and in more ways than one.
We have now had the car for 2 years, in that time it has required a new top mount bearing after 6.000 miles and a set of front tyres after 8.000.
Put new set of front tyres on the other week to be told by fitter "I think that top mount bearing is clicking, and how the f**k has it gone through tyrea so soon, is your old lady doing a bit rallying with it??".
It's a nice car FIAT, and well though out, but I can't help thinking that the two faults are linked, and I dont want to face large car repair bills in the future nor do I want a car that has a large question mark over it.
So the Qubo goes next week, to be replaced by Kia Venga 1.6 CRDI.
Had I been able to see that Fiat had done something with regards to the top mount problem, I may have thought about another Qubo, but as far as I can gather the dealers are told just to replace and put back on the road.
Sorry Fiat, thats not the way its done, and all that happens is you lose customers.
