Mrs_G's van goes in for its third cambelt change this coming weekend.
Its going to be a little ahead of schedule but if we wait another week it'll be over and I'd kick myself if it failed during that week - unlikely I know but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Yes, it's sods law that it would go during the week! So as you say better to be safe than sorry eh 
I do point out though, in keeping with the thread, that it has only lasted this long because of it's caring owners you keep on top of everything and you do look after it so I think that contributes to why she has been quite faithful to you over the past 200,000 miles
