I could create a car washing post.

It'd be something like this:-

1) Buy car - it'll be nice 'n shiny
2) 9 months later go to the Italian Car Day. The missus will spend the whole of Saturday washing both your Fiats while you play golf.
3) 6 months later, get someone to run into you. When the car comes back from the bodyshop it'll be nice 'n shiny.
4) 6 months later take it in for some remedial work. They'll wash it again.
5) 6 months after that take it into AC in Perth for some warranty work. They'll feel so guilty for having it for 3 weeks that they'll wash it for you.



I have washed it more often than that in the 2 years 9 months I've had it, honest :lol:

I've washed the escort 4 times since Ive owned it.

Because it does a lot of rural miles (back/single track roads etc) I dont really see much point. Its rusty as is, its gonna get rustier. Big deal

When the floor pan falls through I'll buy something different!

I used to park there a lot too.

Once came back to my car and someone had kindly side-swiped the whole drivers side. :twisted:
The drivers door was pushed in about 6 inches. :shock:

Just as well it was a Montego worth £250

even thought i passed a place where they hand wash your car for £2.50 nearly every day
