4 weeks ago, a Brava with 30500miles on the clock is MOTed and fails on the emissions.
They're responce - need a new CAT and exhaust system mate, £1070 all in.
As a result owner scraps car.
Today said Brava flys through MOT at another test station with no work what so ever
Some how I think Thames were being a little naughty as they knew their customer would only ever use main dealer and never went anywhere else, and they wanted some extra income. Bear in mind this car has been in every year for a service and has brought the company alot of income over last 10 years (was origionally purchased from them also!), and 10 years prior with a Classic Panda also origionally brought from them.
I can honestly say well done Thames Croydon, you've confirmed what I've always said about main dealers!!
