Driving home from a few days away yesterday I was just thinking to myself how well my Stilo was actually going.
Yeah, I've had a couple of paintwork issues (now sorted to a very high standard by Benfield Accident Repair Centre
) and one or two small niggles, but certainly it has never let me down, and remains at 32k as pleasant to drive as when it was new almost 2 years ago.
But then...
Beep, beep, can't be low on fuel I think...
..engine fault!
So I ease off and take the next slip road off the A1, into the middle of nowhere, and phone the Fiat AA line. After around 20mins of them trying to pinpoint me in the middle of a bunch of unclassified roads I decided to check my handbook.
Engine Fault - Injector Problem - OK to drive at reduced speed.
Now there had been no noticeable effect on the car, so I thought what the hell, I'll quickly take a toilet break and set off. I get back in the car, then engine starts and...
Nothing! No fault! I'd already tried restarting to no avail, but hey, its fixed itself
I will take the car in at some point soon to get it checked, but its almost as if the car was taking the p*ss for me daring to think how well it was going:devil:
