hi guys , can any1 get me some info on the tempra turbo??

and i found on the net tempra from 1999' , i thought they stopped producing them in 96'??

The Tempra was no longer sold in the UK (& Europe?) from 1996 but I think they were still sold in South America. I can only presume that it was exported from the country from where it was originally sold.

After 1996 Fiat Tempra had been manufactured in Brasil and Turkey This turbo engine is from the Brasilian factory, it's really good.

i would love to trade my 92' 1.6L carb tempra for a 2L turbo!!!

any1 have idea what they're 0-100kmh(or 0-60mph) result?

they also made one for us market the 2.0sx ie it has a twin cam 8valve engine, i belie shares the same engine as the old 131 moirafiori,ive owned a red one for 2 years, which i may also be looking to sell, clutch is up for replacement(on it way). digidash, and ive had 135mph out of it as standard (abit better with decent airfilter/backbox)

as far as i was aware they only made turbo diesel blocks, not petrol ones, so its news to me if they did a 2.0 turbo

the 2lr Petrol Turbo was a brazil only car from what I recall, google it, you'll find it

Yea It seems like the Petrol_turbo was made only for the brazilian market.
such a shame! here in israel where we can't afford(or better to say have no use) cars that cost more the Subaru Impreza STi and Mitsubishi Lancer EVO car like the turbo tempra is'nt sold at its time.

As I Understood from the net it was pretty good car, it went about 220+ kMH and did 0-100 in about 6sec.

and it was a tempra :0
